DINKY’S AMISH AUCTION CENTER
It’s a weekly tradition for thousands of visitors from throughout the Midwest. We’re speaking of the Friday night auction at Dinky’s Amish Auction Center, just a few minutes from Gasthof Amish Village.
While the items to be auctioned vary from week to week, Dinky’s is known to have great bargains on just about everything imaginable from cars to chickens; furniture to farm machinery. As a matter of fact, there may be as many as 10 different auction rings during an evening.
The auction starts at 6:00 PM local time (Central) each Friday throughout the year except for Friday’s following the semi-annual Amish horse auctions in March and September and during the Christmas holidays. Food and refreshments are available on-site.
In addition to the regular weekly auctions, Dinky's hosts special sales and events throughout the year. For a list, visit the Gasthof Events Page on this same site.
